Andrew Callaghan is a highly experienced teacher and is on the staff of both Orange Regional Conservatorium and Macquarie Conservatorium Dubbo. He has previously been cello teacher for Riverina and Murray Conservatoriums, as well teaching cello, classroom music, band and string ensemble programs in a number of schools in NSW and Victoria. He was Director of South West Music School, as well as Head of Music of Brauer College Warnambool. He has prepared students to Licentiate level in the AMEB exam system and for HSC music, achieving high level results. As a performer, Andrew was a member of the Riverina String Trio, and has played with the Melbourne Sinfonia, Loughlin Chamber Orchestra, Pro Musica and Melbourne City Opera Orchestra, as well as giving solo recitals including ABC broadcasts.
