Hidden in the vibrant corners of Newcastle’s music scene is a new wave of musicians making their mark, and bassist 𝗛𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 is one to watch. Joined by 𝗘𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗸 on drums and 𝗔𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗜𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 on guitar, the Hamish Price Trio brings a fresh, fearless energy to the stage, blending jazz, funk and experimental fusion into a sound that is as groove-driven as it is unpredictable.

With improvisation at its core, the trio moves effortlessly between infectious rhythms, intricate compositions and explosive bursts of ensemble playing. Expect shifting grooves, unexpected musical twists, moments of space and reflection, and plenty of furious jamming as the musicians push boundaries and explore the possibilities of their instruments.

Grounded in jazz tradition but never content to stay in one place, the Hamish Price Trio delivers a dynamic and adventurous performance that keeps the music moving and the audience listening.
