Wind Workshop with Jane Rutter

This workshop is given by visiting musician, flautist Jane Rutter. This is a wonderful opportunity for wind players to learn hands-on from an inspiring professional performing musician.


Students learning flute, clarinet, oboe and saxophone will benefit from this workshop. Teachers and all music lovers are also welcome to attend.

Entry is free, but advance registration is required for everyone attending, both observers and playing participants. People aged 16 yrs and older must be fully vaccinated to attend.

Students of all ages and levels can attend the workshop as an observer, without nominating to play. Non-students, members of the public and parents are also welcome to attend as an observer - but please register.

Students who wish to nominate to play at the workshop: please discuss this with your teacher before registering, and if your teacher approves, consult with your teacher to select a suitable piece to play. Students nominating to play should be learning their instrument for at least 3 years, and be at approximately AMEB  Grade 3 standard or higher, but you don't have to be doing an AMEB exam to play - ask your teacher.
