Youth Music Theatre

Macquarie Conservatorium’s program for children aged 8-12 years combines music and drama and explores the exciting world of music theatre.

Participants learn about singing, acting and movement, as well as perform in their own musical shows. No previous experience is required.

Two productions are presented each year, with simply staged performances at Macquarie Conservatorium.

Before enrolling their children in this activity, parents are asked to check the Annual Calendar below carefully: it is ESSENTIAL that participants are available for all their regular Wednesday sessions, a few extra weekend rehearsals close to the performance date, and of course, all the performances!

Weekly workshop sessions: Wednesdays 4.00pm-5.30pm during school terms

Tutor: Jessica Manning

Cost: $160 per term plus annual family membership fee $25
