Holiday Drumming Workshop for 14-19 yrs with TAIKOZ
A great opportunity to try out high-energy drumming with Taikoz this weekend. No previous experience required - everyone is welcome.
At this workshop led by professional musicians from internationally renowned ensemble, TAIKOZ., you will be introduced to rhythm and its role in music and composition, through hands-on drumming using Japanese taiko drums. And if you want to do more, there's a regular weekly drumming program you can join, with new enrolments welcome for Term 2.
This event is presented by Orana Arts, in partnership with Taikoz and Macquarie Conservatorium, as part of the program Not a Dress Rehearsal: Performing Arts for Regional Youth.
