One more chance to hear exciting young opera singer

Geurie-born tenor and former Macquarie Con student Nathan Bryon returns to Dubbo for a solo recital this Friday 22 July - don’t miss the opportunity to hear this exciting young singer before he leaves Australia for the next stage of his career, postgraduate study in the United States.

In thrilling news, Nathan has just won 1st prize at one of Australia’s most important singing competitions!

Nathan was awarded the Sydney Eisteddfod John Lamble Foundation Winner Scholarship of $40,000. Nathan will use the Scholarship to further his studies internationally in the USA at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.

Nathan began his singing studies at Dubbo’s Macquarie Conservatorium with revered Opera Australia soprano Dawn Walsh. Nathan has gone on to complete tertiary studies in singing at Sydney Conservatorium and is a scholarship recipient of the Melba Opera Trust and the Joan Sutherland and Richard Bonynge Foundation.

Nathan is accompanied in this Dubbo concert by pianist Su Choung, a fellow graduate of the Sydney Conservatorium and a Melba Opera Trust Scholar.

Dubbo audiences have one chance to see Nathan perform live at Macquarie Conservatorium on Friday 22 July at 6.00pm. Bookings are now open.
