Rock School Holiday Workshop for 11-18yrs
Do you want to play in a band? Do you already play in a band? School’s in these holidays for young rock musos aged 11-18 years at Macquarie Conservatorium’s ROCK SCHOOL. Enjoy a fun week of afternoon workshops, playing in rock bands on your instrument – electric guitar, bass guitar, drums, vocals or keyboard.
Get expert tips on playing rock music and song-writing, plus great jam sessions together as bands, with professional band players as your coaches. At the end of the workshop, participants will give a short showcase performance for family and friends. A great way to spend a week of your school holidays!
Please note, some experience playing your instrument or singing is required, this workshop is NOT for beginners.
The workshop runs from Monday 28 June to Friday 2 July, 2pm-5pm each day, plus showcase performance at 6.00pm Friday 2 July.
